is Australia dead? NEED HELP

Hey im planning to build a go kart (6.5 briggs and stratton) some time soon, but im having trouble getting parts, Australia must be dead in the go karting hobby becuase i cant find any sites in aus that sell any thing im looking for,

I need alot of stuff, spindels, axel,torque-a-verter just about every thing u need wich i can find all at northern tools but i dont wanna pay shipping becuase it might cost me more than i have, but yet again i dont know shipping prices... i can find a motor in our local town but there asking to much, oh well

so is there any Australians in this go karting area and if so speak up and share with me ur knowledge

and since im here, wats the better axel to go for, a diff or live axle? and were do u mount the sprocket and disk brake on the diff? is it just like a live axle?

i would really love to make this go kart and make it worth my time and money with lots of fun, hope i get this build soon, cant wait, thanks
