Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Just signed up today, I know I'll be looking for a lot of help. Trying to fix up an old 2 seater (father/son project). Never done anything like this before, I can research anything and get things done when I put my mind to it. Unfortunately my son isn't that patient but want him to learn how to be patient and do things for himself.

I don't know what the 2 seater's brand or model is I'm guessing Manco, and I've been trying to get a manual or any kind of litterature on it. I pretty much have an old frame and a seat and tires, the rest is cut up and have to build up.

I also got a Magnetron 8HP Briggs and Stratton engine which is also run down and want to fix it up. It is missing a gas tank and am sure a couple of other things need to be fixed up. It actually did start but I'm having trouble removing the pulley on it which I think was part of a torque converter system...

Well to sum it up, I got my work cut out for me but definitely will not give up and can use your help... Here are my 2 immediate needs if I can get some help:

Need an owner's manual for the engine so I can become more familiar with it, and

Also need manual for my cart so I know what parts I need to buy and how to put it back together.

If you can tell me the model type and code of the engine (should be on the shrouds somewhere) i can get you a manual and a some specs on the engine.

here is the info on the Engine

B&S Magnetron 8HP
Model: 190402
Type: 2815-01
Code: 87091110

I am having a hard time getting what looks like a double pulley on the engine shaft, I initially thought it was a clutch I now think it's part of a torque converter. Took the screw key retainer out but nothing is budging....thanks a lot

Thanks for the reply and the link... Here are a couple of pictures of the engine. I hope you can see it. Besides the pulley being difficult to remove, I discovered I had another problem on the opposite side of the pulley where the starter rope hooks to the shaft, I noticed a bunch of ball bearings, it looks as if something is busted there. In any case one problem at a time... Here are the pics... thanks again
