Hey all,

I'm liljack out of Decatur Alabama. I've been collecting old van bodied go karts for a couple years now and I found your site while looking for parts and info.

I've been cruising around here for a few weeks and have some questions for those who know. Thanks for all the info you have here. I look forward to learning more.

As promised.

My first van kart was purchased in 2007 from a guy in Florida. It had a mural of Jerry Garcia on the front and pinstriping all around. It also had headlights, taillights, and stained glass marker lights.

Sadly the body was in awful shape, so I did some fiberglass repairs and began sculpting some body mods for future fiberglass work.

Then I found an old carter brothers cart frame and this is what I hope to do in the future.

Then I found a second cart in Georgia. It needs serious body work but I couldn't pass it up for the price.

My last van I picked up last October. It is my pride and joy. All original from 1977. Frame, body, paint, wheels have never been changed. It was upgraded to a 5hp Tec engine but is getting a 6.5 clone transplant currently.
This kart will remain unchanged unless something drastic happens.
