Intro and info request

Howdy all,
I'm not into the cart scene but I've always thought they were cool when I was younger.
I was recently left an Action Products FW Mini car Indy style, has a briggs engine (gas cap, air cleaner and rear spoiler missing) other broken parts: Rt front spoiler, steering wheel and steering column adjustment latch)
A lot of useful parts left though or some one could put the time and $$ into it I suppose. My question would be parts value? or throw it on CL for what $$ ?

depends on the engine on how much it is worth. the flywheel cover should have a plate riveted to it and you can look up if it is an industrial or standard engine. Most briggs are worth more parted out. You can sell the crank, carb, flywheel cover/pull start, head, and side cover seperately for more than you could if you sold the whole engine as one unit.

Not sure about the kart though. looks cool, might want to sell it as a package deal and spin it as vintage. a lot of older karts arent worth a ton, but like their wheels and what not sometimes are worth stupid amounts of money... but then again i really cant see anything special about the rims. That giant piece missing from the fiberglass im sure doesnt help. If the fiberglass was good, and you found the right buyer maybe 5-$700 on ebay.... but it looks like it is in really rough shape. I am not sure how collectable this is though, but you usually see fiberglass stuff in a restored/working condition at 5-700. Might want to ask for less since im sure it is all non-functional, or do your own research on the worth.

Worst case scenario, you default to $100 and someone will buy anything with wheels on craigslist for $100

after all this rambling, here is a sold one for $125 so there ya have it man. around 100 bucks wohooooo siiiick your gunna be riiiich!

Yep "Vintage" is the key word. From what I see "Vintage" added to any description adds $500.00. So you could be lookin at $600.00.
