Increase the speed of a predator 212

Hi guys I did search for a thread to my specific engine question.

Well I have a go kart, been working on it for a while now. I believe the frame is a 70s manco but I'm not sure.
Anywho, I have a 212cc predator on it. It's totally stock besides that I wired the kill switch to my frame, and I cut the low oil wire to stop it from stalling on steep turns.
Id like to increase the speed, it's only going 25 mph right now (I'm 235 lbs)
Any suggestions would be great ( besides removing the governor because of the high risk)

The ONLY way to increase speed if the governor is stock, is to change your gearing (or tyre size, but that equates to gearing).

What is your gearing now? Count the teeth on the clutch and the axle and post here. Also give us the tyre diameter.

Post some pics too. That will help us see if you can change your gearing
