I was looking for a motor at princess auto and i met this guy who was also looking for one. Then another guy joined the convo and told me that i should join this site because it has good information about how to build a gokart. Anyways, i got a motor. Hope he doesnt think i forgot.

Hi, Foppi- glad you made it! I was starting to think you forgot! Now- which guy were you? The one that wanted a weedie/chainsaw engine, or the one I talked to about the 6.5hp clone?

I'm going to be using the motor either for a go cart or for a motor bike, rigging it over the back tire and using a belt clutch to link it to the pedals. The pedal arms will be removed though.

I was the guy who wanted the 6.5 hp clone. The funny thing was there was a 6.5 hp clone in the shop but it didn't have a price and was mixed in with the others. Luckily i found out and picked it up for 89 bucks.

Very good! The regular, non-sale price is around $180. Good deal.
