im looking for the idle screw on a tecumseh ohh-65???

The engine is running to fast at idle, I was wanting to check the idle screw to see if that would help. I got the linkage worked out(that helped alittle) But the tires are still spinning when you start it. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks guys

on my honda clone its a black plastic screw made from plastic by the carby. dont confuse this for the mixture screw, on my clone is a brass like screw. may be different on techumsehs, but this may help.

i guess there isnt one. What are some of the most likely cause of the engine running so hard? Also why are the tires spinning when the engine runs?

There must be an idle speed adjust.
Complete engine number please?

Have you already made sure your fast idle problem isn't just an improperly adjusted throttle cable?

Possibly it's a carb that has a fixed idle speed.
Consider upgrading if this is the case.
What did this engine come off of?
