Ill let you in on a secret. The metal i will be useing is square steel tubing. And im getting about 40' of it for free. Wanna know how? lol im going up the hill around my house with my dads truck at night and im going to head up the road. Every really old sign i see im taking it down to use it for my frame like its perfect metal. its the strongest metal you can get. am i right???

No. First of all, it is way too big, like over 2". And second, it's full of holes.

That sounds like a stupid idea to me. Sorry to have to say it, But karma always comes back to you whether the the street is used or not. The fact that your bragging about it means that karma will get you even faster.

Besides, street sign material is probably to heavy and your cart is going to weigh to much depending on the size motor. Street sign material is Hot Dipped Galvanized so it is tuff to weld and makes extremely Toxic fumes. You have to make sure that all the galvanize is cleaned off of all welding surface. If you breathe the fumes you'll most likely wake up with a heavy chest pain and a trip to the hospital. Be Smart, do it right, and appreciate it better. Your smart enough to come on this site and get the right info, then im sure your smart enough to follow the right path. Peace brother, No Hard feelings.
