I've been looking at go karts for a while and didnt like the prices I was seeing so...
I was at an auction a few days ago and picked up 6.5 HP engine and some wheels w/ spindles
The next day I scored a junk scooter to donate shocks for the A arms and a swing arm to hack up for the rear.
Tonight I came home from a local Amish blacksmith with forty feet of 1x1 tubing.
I've built a few Doodle bug/Rupp mini bikes... I guess i got my feet wet and now I'm jumping in.
After creeping around on DIYGK for a couple weeks I registered and must say... I love being able to click on the images to make them bigger. Should have done it sooner.
