My name is Rjay, I have always love go karts, I just came across this forum and thought it was very interesting because i have always wanted to build my own go karts to my own specifications and it was not till recently that i found a friend who was also interested in them. so it was then that i decided to build my own.

Could any get some help as to where to start a build?

My friend and i wanted to build one from scratch with buy the least amount of pre-made go kart parts such as a body frame.

Anyone able to help?

Welcome to the forum; we can all help you...

The first thing you need is a design; think about what you want & jot down some measurements, then start drawing...

The second thing you need is a welder & to know how to use it, then you will need some steel tubing...

You also need to tell us where you want to use it. Tar or offroad. What engine do you have in mind?

okay well i want it to be able to go both off road and on road.
does anyone know how to use a welder? id like to learn that as well
im not sure what engine but i definitely want it to be powerful
