Just found an xr100r, 2000 model, kid wrecked it and the timing chain is a little loose and making some noise, but oh how sweet it is to tear through the woods again , slappin limbs, ripping chunks out of my arms and legs with big saw briars and being the neighborhood outlaw! Nah, I'm not a menace, just a old man feeling like I'm 13 again, its completely stock and runs like a Honda should, but the timing chain is kinda bugging me, after following the steps to adjust it, it still slaps and clangs, how hard is it to change? Prolly better now than later, there's very little I can find on this subject, maybe everyone rides them till they quit but I'd like to improve suspension and get a Cr front end and do a tk lift in the rear, I don't wanna be in the motor much..
