I was seriously hoping that the whole idea of roundabouts had been forgotten about, and left on the East coast.

I came across this gem while driving through some middle of nowhere desert wasteland this week.

I almost got splattered in it on my bike by a big truck who didn't know whether to sh!t or wind his watch.

Theyre becoming common around my area, and theres even two in upper NY on I87 at Rouses Point. They can be a pain but they really do speed up traffic in high traffic areas. Just so long the dummies on their phones pay mind to right of way.

Yes. You can just see how congested it really is.

I was so excited just to see the thing, it was all I could do to keep myself from spending hours just going around and around in circles.

I like them when people use them properly. Instead dip wads decide that 50 cars can go through before anyone else can. Though considering stop lights near me are poorly timed (waiting a good 2 minutes before it changed when no one is near it), I'll take roundabouts. Plus it's easier to turn around on one than pulling a uie at a light.

Them things are getting real popular all of a sudden in San Diego. But on Small Quiet streets and intersections.

There are getting to be a lot of them around here too. They're fun to drift around in turbo cars late at night though.

I consider them genius in terms of permitting smooth, constantly-moving traffic flow and for slowing down speeding idiots in quiet residential areas; you know, where we all live.

I think every intersection should have one, just about.

I just floor it and see if I can clear it going straight up the middle.......................oh wait that's on my Forza game. Lol
