I got new 16 hp viking power hemi motor I'm not sure if it's wire right???


On my ignition I have
B - goes battery
R -goes to charge coil??? With diod
S - goes to starter
M - goes coil kill wire an low oil sensor
A - goes to lights an amp gauge
G - goes ground

I'm not sure where R goes thank you

Pictures would sure help a lot! I’m not familiar with that brand of engine but maybe we could figure it out together. Do not use the low oil sensor. It will just keep shutting the engine off. What are you putting it on?

The charge coil should go to the voltage regulator. But if it is a low amp system it may just go to the battery to charge it. (3 amps or less)

It's low amp an there's a diod in that wire so where to hook it up direct to battery ??? So what hooks to the (run)terminal on the key ignition?

One side of the key switch is always hot. There should be a power feed wire from the key switch to the starter solenoid also. The power feed wire energizes the solenoid when the key is turned to crank position. Do you have a fused wire from the positive battery terminal to the post on the solenoid along with the positive battery cable?
