Ignition Coils - Double Double Toils and Troubles

bob58o. I currently have 7 predator and clone engines. Aside from that I have blown up 4 more. When the karts or bikes come back from the desert I wash them with a pressure washer. Cover the carb and exhaust pipe. I HAVE NEVER HAD an ignition or coil problem. GIVE IT UP. I realize you are very good at posting adds, charts, and gear ratio formulas. Make yourself look real good. Your trouble shooting abilities need a little work. Maybe lots of work.

if you were half as intelligent as you think you are you would understand that a bad coil is the only logical problem.

Ignorance is temporary and can be fixed. “Know it all’s” are beyond help. Impervious to education. Never had a bad coil, but you know all about them then, huh?. Prolly never cut a lawn. Or worked on a lawnmower… and why trust someone who blows up 33% of their engines? Clearly you’ve been doing it wrong.

Guys stop fighting! There's no reason for two of our most experienced members to attack each other in a thread. Weird things happen to engines. Pancho always goes to the most likely cause. Bob thinks outside the box. We need both viewpoints, often to help one person with one project. SO CUT IT OUT!

My pops passed when I was seven but he used his size 13 wide to insert knowledge. Besides regular homework, I had to do his math worksheets and flash cards. Us kids were also required to participate in Karate practice where our balance was tested against the force of the wiffle ball bat. Know the times tables now or know the bat later.
