alright ill see if thats the caseCould be stuck in the carb. Even the slightest bit of dissimilar corrosion or oxidation between brass and aluminum can "weld" the thing in place. Brass gets "verdigris" and Aluminum gets that chalky degradation. Combine that with an ill-fitting, wrong size screwdriver and voila.
The whole bike may be fairly new, how new I don't know, but it does not take too long. The process is quickened with that dang ol' ethanol blended gasoline....
ah ok I'll put that on my list of tools to buyWe danced over the topic of screwdrivers but the screwdriverhas to have a narrow enough shank to fit into the hole where the jet is, and having the correct “bit” size on the tip is also important. Otherwise it is very easy to accidentally twist the screwdriver out of the slot in the brass jet and mangle it up good. Brass is much softer than the screwdriver and you can end up hogging-out (highly technical term!) the brass slot to where the screwdriver can’t do its job.
The best screwdrivers are the ones with “hollow ground” tips.
yeah im tryingYou got that minibike running yet?
This could be you this summer....![]()
