I looked and looked but got quickly frustrated by their garbage search results (which include 'everything but the kitchen sink'). Got a link for it?

I think I would weld the engine mount plate to the red part. It looks like it was designed to unbolt for engine removal and maintenance, and you may want to keep that, but you can essentially do what you like. Hellion would wait for more input from other DIYGK'ers

Excuse me CartMan007, for dropping the ball but what exactly is this kart of yours? Looks like a ⛳🏌️‍♂️cart

Yes it's a golf cart. 1988 EZGO. Cool I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be too heavy.

You ain't gonna like my answer. I don't know how to post a link. I am THAT technically challenged. But go to their website, click go kart parts, click weld ons.
It took me less than a minute. It is part or sku # KDPEM--2.
CartMan007, the picture you posted is NOT the piece I am referring to. What you have posted is a 1/2" thick aluminum plate that bolts to the motor mount and allows you to move the engine sideways about 2 & 1/2". It is a bolt on piece, not a weld on motor mount. I have two of them in the small block size, and they work great for lining up the engine to the axle sprocket. A different animal altogether.

I used your "exact search terms" in your first post about the mount plate and used that to search GoPoSpo and got "a million results".
Quick tutorial (which I hope isn't Greek to you):

This is the old fashioned way:

1. Find the GoPoSpo product and make sure you are on the page that has the full size photo and the product details

2. Go to the address bar at the top of that page (your browser window) and copy the complete address/URL for the product, it is in this format: "https://www.gopower..."

3. Come back to the window or tab that you are viewing the forum on

4. In the post you are making, click the chain/link icon 🔗 at the top of the text entry area

5. Paste the link you copied into the 🔗 URL entry field and click Insert. You don't need anything else.

6. Et voilà

7. https://www.gopowersports.com/predator-engine-mount-2-301cc-420cc-670cc/

OR--> Since the forum software was upgraded to XenForo some time back (after which Hellion lost all his 10,000 Likes), all you have to do is paste the product URL anywhere in the message body and it will create a really neat link box with a short product description, like this:

But you have to click Preview or Post Reply to see it. So just ignore everything else I said and do it this way. I just prefer the neat, single URL line in blue.
