That is EXCELLENT!

I was playing with a similar idea myself..
actually a few years back (17 is a few right?) I was driving 220km to go and buy a KR200 in pieces...

but what I thought was "disassembled ready to repair", was "disintegrated ready to hoover up" and we couldn't agree on a price. :(
(basically 2 grand for some paperwork and a matching serial number plate, plus a few boxes o rust)

Ah well, lesson learned: pics first... ALWAYS!

Now that little fellow is very small as you might know, and pretty much all except the body is really straight forward; exactly what you'd expect it to be.
very simple design, a scooter swingarm, barely a frame (just two tubes holding the body on the floorpan really)
And what is perfectly described as a go kart steering on suspended wheels.
The lid is connected by a piano hinge and that's all the mechanics involved already.

Please let us know your location...

IIRC there was a replica made by a british guy (awesome dude!) and he sold kits
and complete replikas based on 4stroke honda scooter engines and fiberglass bodies for the KR175/200 the Tiger as well as the Isetta...
Always wanted one afterwards, never got around buying one (since it's not streetlegal here anyways)
IDK if he's still around, neither can I remember the companies name (but I can meditate over it I guess :D)
[EDIT]
TriTech or something...
[E.o.E.]

but if you're in the US that's pointless, since shipping will break your neck (hence the location question)

Please fill out your profile as that would help in telling you where to got and get stuff..

What's your budget?
Can you weld/or have an available buddy to do so for you?
What stuff do you have to start with?

my budgets a few grand but its not going to be an exact replica of a kr200. its actually called a fusion flea from the game fallout. the reason why i said kr200 is because its based off of it. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fusion_Flea_Supreme
i can weld and i have pretty much nothing to start with accept some drawings and a idea of the frame.
