For the past couple of days I have been working on a razor scooter that I am trying to install a 46cc 2 stroke engine on. I just need help installing a bike sprocket on the free wheel hub. I don’t have a lathe or anything simply used to center anything or any thing too fancy this. Just a welder pneumatic tools and drill then a bunch of metal stuff from demo derbies.

Would an adapter plate space it away too much? This way you avoid the hub centering and hole diameter. Will be tricky to get it centered, but if you screw up one plate, just try another. Make it out of aluminum so that the bit does not walk around when you try to drill a precise hole.

Or, make a TWO piece place that goes behind flange of the wheel (on wheel side) and has 5 bolt holes to pull the bike sprocket into the plate. That new two piece plate would also have bolt holes through it to attach it to the flange on the scooter wheel.

Care to share some pictures? I have an E350 or S350 (the one with a seat) that I am close to giving away. It still runs well with the batteries and will go about 4 miles before getting too week on uphills.
