I have A 11hp harber frieght engine and a 300to400lbs go
kart frame with 24in tires on the back ,... I wanted to buy the
TAV2 1in bore kit for 169.00$$ off of BMIkartsales.com,...
I wanted to know if that TAV2 and that engine would
pull that go kart frame???

I had the tav 2 on my cart as a kid and it rocked. It pushed a large Dingo cart with a 5hp briggs. If it wasn't so pricey I would have one on my son's cart. someday:wink2:

A tav2 is still a 30 series right? I think you might be pushing the limits of the 30 series when you consider you have a heavy cart, tall tires and a bigger engine then is recommended for it. Now if your kart already had a 30 series on it and you just had to buy a new driver then I'd say go for it, but if you're getting a whole new torque converter I'd say go with a 40 series it may cost a little bit more and be a little more work but you'll probably never have to worry about it or upgrade it.

It will work just fine.
Only problem with the 11hp harbor freight engines is you need a 1" washer to put between the engine shaft/engine and flat plate for the belt to align the belt properly or the belt will be torn to shreds quickly.
Also the cast plate will need to be modified a bit to fit depending on the angle in which you mount the TC.
AND you may need to adjust the tension spring as it will shift too fast and reaching top speed will take longer and cause excess belt wear as the belt will slip with the higher HP.

PS. all TC are back ordered everywhere. I think I bought the last 1" TC in the country just a week ago.

img didnt work, and it depends on what gear is on that torque converter . Do u want top speed or acceleration?

well 24 are a bit harder to get moving so im gonna say if the gear on the torque a verter is 12 then you want 72-76 on the axle.
