is that the spring sticking out of the driven clutch? that doesn't look normal. lol.
for a newbie the easist thing to do is order a new (or used) driven (or secondary) clutch to replace your broken one. take the old one off and determine the bore size. could be 5/8 or 3/4" inner bore. looks like a comet 30 series to me.
so get on ebay and look for comet 30 clutch, or comet 30 secondary, or comet 30 driven, or comet 30 torque converter, or something similar to those. be sure to order the one with the exact bore size as the one you took off. also, some have the 3/16" key built in, others require a 3/16" key. try to order one like the one you took off, although it might not matter if your shaft will allow you to just slide it all the way on. some shafts are only partially keyed, which requires you to have a driven clutch that does NOT have the built-in key.
now if you feel like getting fancy and want to try to repair the driven clutch yourself, you can find out with a little research what type of spring you need and just order that. it'll save you some money! youtube should have several videos on how to replace the spring.
if that's not what the problem is, then just retain what i have said here as valuable info, and be sure to clearly explain what the problem is.
