Okay well .
I have a 5HP Briggs and stratton engine

Model # - 135212
Type - .0006 01
Code- 93102007

Ill try to post up pics . But i was wondering how can i hook up and electric starter ? Can i? How much would it cost ? And uhmm How do i hook it up . Help would be greatly appriciated =] .:cheers2:

just gotta add a hand onto the pull starter and quickly bring it toward your body. repeat until engine starts.

Ok, Risto, I don't appreciate your inconsideration, lack of respect for Explicits question and your pathetic attempt here to be funny! :worried2: We all know that for your method to be an electric starter, the hand would have to be attached to a battery, preferably through a set of heavy duty alligator clips on the pinky and thumb! :arf:

Ok, I hope that you were able to take that as a joke. :arf:

Anyway, as for Explicit's question, usually, small engines that have the capability for an electric starter have some sort of a mount on them for the motor and have a flywheel with teeth all around it. Most of the time, if it didn't come with a starter to begin with, you'll probably have a hard time trying to put one on.
