i need help !!!! newbie here

whats up guys
i need some help from you guys , i just brought 2 go karts and a lil mini bike all for $200
i need a linkage diagram for both carts and a chain and sproket for the mini bike , i have no idea where i can get these parts or diagrams lol
the first go kart is a pathwinder go kart (very basic) 5.0 hp tecumseh engine
the second go kart is a murray explorer 6.0hp engine tecumseh engine
im trying to get all of these running lol
please help

also on the murray go kart i have a ignition key/ turn on switch
with a black wire ? where does this wire go ? and is it possable to put lights on this go kart ?

Erosa, good buy on the karts, 200 dollars is a heck of a deal. As far as the green Murray goes, the switch is only a kill switch and is not an ignition it acts only as a kill. The engine has no alternator so lights from the engine is not possible. You can however hook up a battery to power lights, you just have to manually charge it.

What linkage questions do you have?

yeah thats what i thought even though everything needs work it's a steal , gotta luv craigslist lol ,
on both carts the throttle linkage / springs are off , i have the srings needed but have no idea on how to hook it up ? and you said the key is the kill switch ? so where do i run dat wire to ?

i brought this for my kids but i think im more excited about riding it lol

idk where da heck this wire goes lol i see one spot on the engine that has a green wire going to a male terminal , im guessing it goes here since its da only spot that i can find lol

here are a few pics of the wire im talking about and pics of the engine with the missing linkage , i have the springs i just need to know where and what i attach it to ?

i was also wondering what u guys think about swapping my front tires for a set a lil bit bigger ? would that effect the driving ?
im sorry for being a pita lol but i cant right until i get this running lol
i install car audio / video/ car pc systems in cars so i want it running so i can hook this **** up and give dis cart some swagg lol

the car is an ariel atom
look up top gear ariel atom

ar is it the ground wire
(start the engine up and see if u can turn it off with the switch if not hook it up and see where that gets u
also if u cant get a spark from the engine same thing

ok ima try it when i get home , what about the spring that connects to to thing on top of the carburator ? ( idk the name of it but it has a few holes i guess for speed adjustment ?) and is there anything wrong with me changing thr front tires to the bigger ones shown in picture ?

man i did da search on da atom and wtf !!!! you drive dat ? lol da video i saw it looked like they put four wheels on a rocket lol the dudes face almost came off lol , awsome i would love to drive one of those lol

sh** no i dont drive that
like 50k and iv gotta import it from england
im struggleing to fund my gokart
they raced it aganst a bike it has faster acceloration, braking and turning than the bike

but back to the point
i reckon put a spring from the silver tab on the left to the plate with the holes in it
oh and the tyres should be fine
just keep fiddling around untill u get it

and last of all where does that red spring in the pic go
if no where i think it is sopose to go in the yellow hole

Do not use the tires in your picture for the front of the kart, first they have no bearings, second they will effect your steering horribly. Yes, that is your ground wire and you'll need the little key in the kill to work the bugger if you do not want to foul it up with a flat blade.

thanks i have the key so i just hook the black wire to the terminal where the green wire is going right ? i just got home so ima go tinker with it now and try to get it started lol
are there any good mods to do to dis kart ?

man i dont know but this cart aint starting for my lol it sounds like it wants to kick over and start but it dont ? it rolls forward a lil when trying to start ? i might be bugging out but if i do get it started it wont run away from me right lol i really dont want to go chasing a go kart down my block lol lol , the old man i brought it from said the they been sitting for 2 years , is there any engine trouble shooting tips i can try ?
im talking about the murray kart , i didnt even try to start da lil red baby go kart yet lol
