Yes I am going to do it again. I was fishing on CL and found a deal. I am going to trade my ATC70 for a running FL250.

Guy hit a tree and bent the wheel and tierods. Probably the frame as well. I got a few frames though if that is the case. This one is missing the tailight and air cleaner. But it still has the original headlight and padding on the bars. I got about $300 into the ATC70

Here is the pics and the listing.

This will be Odyssey #7. What the hell am I doing with 7 Odyssey's? :mad2::roflol:

What does the wife say about this one, or is it going to be a sticker bush surprise?

Shes in the Philippines right now. So I have free range. I am hoping she will not notice one more. Plus if I just trade she is cool with it.

I just got home and will post pics in the morning. Looks pretty good though.

I would buy one of the FL-250's people are way to crazy priced here in Kc they want like 3100 for not even complete. Our craigslist is the most overpriced out of any i have seen.

Your pleas for help fall on deaf ears. If you want any one of us to stop you, forget it! Go, man, go! We are a community of enablers, here. We all share the disease. Sorry.

Seriously- you're just in the right place! I wish those could be found around here- doesn't happen. I guess I just have to live vicariously through you. Say- what'll it take to get into your will?

I'll tell you what, BH, ever since I started playing around with karts, which was last March, I feel I have found the best hobby ever. You can have so much fun building and fixing, designing and driving, and it really doesn't HAVE to cost that much. I check CL 5 times a day looking for deals on karts, watching over-priced ones drop down in price, and I'm having a heck of a lot of fun. I teach school and have sold several of my repaired karts to families I teach. Besides making me happy, I'm making others happy, too! So I say to you....just go for it! I'm looking forward to seeing #8!!! Looking good!!!!:D

Well I did get it home late last night. She runs very good but I will have to rebuild the roll cage. and do some tie rod work. Steering wheel is on the wrong spline. It tooks some good hits. The cage is pretty easy to rebuild for you can cut all those tube brackets off and reweld them onto the new bars. Headlight works and original seat in good condition. Looks like it was a nice Ody until the kid I bought it from got a hold of it. The kid was clueless and did not even know there were splines on the wheel. He kept adjusting the tie rods to correct it. Plus I know it probably bent as well. I got all the parts to fix all the front end problems in less than a day.

It has the ATC? rear hubs which lets you put the bigger wheels on it that you see in the back.

The best part of this deal is I was paid to bring it home. After trading him the ATC I notice a carpet cleaner and steamer he had laying in his garage. I sold both these items before so I knew what they were worth. I asked him how much? he said $25 for both. I jumped on it. The Thermax Cleaner is worth $400 in non working condition and about $600 plus for working. The steamer is about $60 to $100. These are current Ebay prices in completed listings. I do not know if mine works or not. But I plan/hope to make about $400 to $600 plus on this deal. Auto detailing guys use these cleaners. This is why they carry the high prices for old carpet cleaners. This is a steam cleaner style.

The only bummer was when I got home one of are Foster Dogs got into the garbage and spread it all over the house. My falt for I bagged the garbage and forgot to take it out. LOL You can tell my wife is in the Philippines for all the food carry out containers. The dog could not resist that right? every dog has his day.....

Anyway here are some pics. Cage is leaning to the left with crinkles on the main hoop. I will have to rebuild the whole cage. Tires are 90%.

Yougot to hand it to Honda though. How many times do you see beat to all hell FL250 Ody's still running. This is proof that it is very hard to kill them.
