I need to record some voicemails off of my phone. Its one of those iphone4.
I have looked at a few things out there and most want you to pay for it.
I have found out some recording programs are used but I dont know what to use.
I just need to use something that will record and make a simple mp3 file, that I can use elsewhere.
I tried a program called Audacity, but it needs something else to convert it to a mp3.
For me thats too much dicking around.

Plug and play is what I need. Just using the audio cable into the computer

Any know a trusted good source of a free good enough recorder.

Oh, I have tried the voice recorder on the windows(stock), its only 60s I need it at least a few min.

voicemails?

Most service providers allow you to forward your voicemail to your mailbox (as in email, not voicemail)
at least mine (as all german providers I know) does.
and you'll have an email with an mp3 attachment (or wma or something.. depends)
No additional fees.
Or receive all your voicemails via MMS directly on your phone..
you can still safe them to your PC of course.

I'm guessing they are stored on my phone. I haven't connected it to the pc in a while cause of the changes it makes. I just not totally impressed on this aspect the whole I phone thing.
I'm really not that much of a fan of apple as it is, but I like a few of the things it offers.
I can't send them out of the phone by any way that I can see.
My old SE 810i had a memorystick pro, it saved all my stuff to the card.

No it works differently, it just sends the vm to the phone itself. No options prompt.
I'll have to look more into this a couple of days from now.
