So funny what us guys will do for something free. My wife just shakes her head at some of the stuff i drag home. I have always managed to turn on a profit on what i find. What are your plans with it?

Don't fell too bad. One of my neighbors gave me a 14ft jon if i would get it out of his wife's "new" garden. I turned that bad boy upside down on my car and came home. A few people stopped, and pulled over to watch me go by. LOL gotta love free stuff..

Nice kohler, full pressure lubrication. Sell the motor for lots of money, and the axle. Then throw in a junk transaxle and motor and have fun(racing mowa) , then it will eventually make it to the scrapyard. Or keep the axle and make a mad mudding mower.

Lol good one toystory. i hope word didnt go around (school tomorrow) that i drove a lawn mower across town (;

i am looking for a plow so i can clear driveways this winter and make $$. the sears just doesnt seem up to the task, im still missing many parts that i dont even know what they do. however i may just buy a old snow blower ($100-150) and run the business with that. of course i always have the risk of it breaking and then losing all my clients....

i might just decide to romp it in the tobacco fields and lock the diff, and get rid of any crap under the frame. i need to put a new battery in and replace the solenoid though... (ill take them from the sears since it has a recoil)

yeah the motor is awesome. purrs like a kitten. ran it at least 2 hours straight, smooth the whole time.

that is a very good idea. however the guy welded the diff and the weld broke, i hope that hasnt damaged it or left chunks in the gearbox

I would sell the motor for $150 Then you will have money for your snowblower, and put a junk motor on it.

Good idea. Make some money and keep the projects running.

Bad idea, never mess with farmers and their crops.

Its fun getting a free tractor I still have several out back to mess with.

Free tractors are everywhere you just have to be on the lookout and move quick on them.

My trailer with the drop down gate is great for loading up old tractors and other things.

I found the tractor with a blade is quick and easy until the snow gets to deep.

A snowblower is overkill for the most part until you get way to much snow then it earns its money big time by heaving the snow up and over the snow piles making easy work of it.

I got the blade hooked up to my tractor right now and will either throw the snowblower on it when needed or get the other tractor going and tag team like last year.

^^ There are the Americans that are spoiled, something breaks, throw it away, buy brand new one. Then fix-err-up-joe(or bob, or bluthunder3320, or whoever) comes along and fixes the thing for cheap.

I think it something like that...

:D

the deck is long gone and it seems like its been left outside and off roaded. it really has no use other than to tow things..... those are the free tractors.

once the deck goes, most of the time theyre out for free.
