I was just curious I have a murray with no deck and a hydro stakic rear. I forget what size motor but its a twin and i dont wanna fix it cause I have an old trusty mower. since its got a hydro rear could I straight mount the output shaft to the input on the rear? I know both would have to be supported and that it wont be fast and " mower rear ends dont hold up" I was gonna run bevel gears to a jackshaft with a clutch but I thought this would work for something to goof around and pull my lawn trailer that i made post pics of that at some point. Just an old go cart frame with that set up on the back

Like I said, it will burn up in minutes above 10mph. You can hook it up without a clutch setup and just drive with the shifter. How do you think I mow the lawn? If I'm in a real good mood I might give it a little clutch to make the forward-reverse shift smoother.

That's a mole problem. It just spins those old turf savers without much harm to the grass, which sucks *** when I'm trying to mow a really steep, shady(thin grass and lots of loose dirt) hill.
