I have no brakes

I've been looking for a brake kit for my kids Fox Carbide 150cc go-kart and can't find any that are under $150-$200 that are factory replacement. I'm not going to be racing them around in it, I just need it to stop so I can take them down our trails. Does anyone know if other more popular brand karts have the same brakes and are cheaper or maybe could give me a link to some universal brakes that would fit?

What is wrong with them. Pads can be had for cheap. If you need to replace just a caliper or master cylinder isn't that expensive.
What make you think you need to replace all of it?

The only good part is the rotors. Pads are down to the backing plate, calipers are seized, and the master cylinder will not move fluid. I've taken everything apart to check. Will a Hammerhead 150 universal brake kit work on a Fox Carbide 150? They seem to be more abundant and half the price.

I don't know exact fitament for each model but look at the kit and see if the parts match. Most china kart use 1 of a few styles. Match what you have and you'll be good enough.

I did run across just bad machinery on the last caliper I changed. The bracket to hold to the frame was just a tad off. I was able to swap the bracket with the one on the kart and it worked just fine.

I bought a complete brake setup ( master cylinder, line, and caliper ) from Go Power Sports a while back for $ 100. It was even bled. Fluid was in it. Ready to go. They had 2 or 3 different styles. I just picked the one that looked like the junker that was on my kart. Caliper fit like a champ, little bit of linkage Fab on the master cylinder, and I had brand new brakes. Like yours, my kart had a decent rotor on it that I left alone.
