I ordered parts I needed to get things going. I attempted to remove the clutch that was put on backwards I do believe. I snapped off the bolt. And then tried drilling it out. Not much luck. My neighbor said it had a metric bolt ran into the crank and should have been an saw. Idk, but predators were on sale at HF so a quick trip to town and we now have a power plant..

Predator 212's use a 5/16 - 24 tpi bolt for the clutch.
The picture above seems to have the clutch installed correctly.
If installed with the clutch outboard (sprocket on the outside), it doesn't seem like the Rear sprocket would be aligned.

Got it. It looked way off to me. Sorry for the misinformation. I'm learning.

Here is another thing to learn about. Whoever had your go kart before you probably left it out in the weather and didnt take good care of the torque converter it had on it. It probably seized up, and they replaced the original engine with a duromax or greyhound engine. They probably saw that the torque converter was $200ish dollars, so they slapped on a $20 centrifugal clutch as well. Now you have a clutch that will wear out super fast because of the really big 18" tires on it. Its going to burn up and have poor performance.

If you look at the picture i posted with the red circle, that is where the jackshaft should sit. At least they kept the original motor mount, so that will save you a headache!

So you can get a 30 series torque converter kit from gopowersports here https://www.gopowersports.com/30-series-torque-converter-3-pc-kit

Buy a 5/8" keyed shaft, some 5/8" machine bushings as spacers(hardware store), and some 5/8" od x 1 3/8" od bearings (gopowersports) and install the shaft in the hole outlined in red.

Also, one last thing. Manco has this kart as a 6:1 gear ratio. Your sprocket is a 54t sprocket, so you will need 9t type c 5/8" bore sprocket that fits 40/41/420p chain to restore the original gear ratio. These sprockets are found at gopowersports as well

https://www.gopowersports.com/9t-5-8b-41p-sprocket/

So for about another $100 ish you can fix the problem for good. That is if you bought the predator 212cc.
