Hey everyone
Thanks for adding me to your forum

I got my hands on a Carter talon 150cc that had been on fire and has cooked some of the wires . So far I've done a pretty good job getting power to where it belongs but I'm having a hard time finding places to ground wires

There doesn't seem to be a lot of places on the swing arm and I dont want to start drilling holes in it either and right now I have all ground wires including the negative battery cable all bolted into one of the air filter box bolt holes .

I'll follow this post up with photos to give y'all a good look at what's going on and thanks in advance to everyone for any and all assistance

Ideally find a Carter Talon manual for your exact model
(there have been more tha one Talons [GS, GSX, DLX, FX GX....])

With that should be able to figure out where the chassis grounds are supposed to be
and how everything should be wired up.

usually ground is close to to the lights the engine, the battery and one on the dashboard.
More often than not those are fixed bolts (ringterminals and a nut to secure)
as opposed to throughholes for bolts/screws you can swap;
but I cannot speak for the Carter karts.

When in doubt just take a look around, several Carter Talons are shown on the forum and
with a bit of luck you can find the picture showing you what you need to know,
or find someone that can help you wire it up correctly.
