Hello and greetings from Germany,
I built myself a Trike (first project) and after everything is finished I noticed I got a wrong gear ratio (4.4:1; 44:10).
My centrifugal clutch broke twice and now I know that I should‘ve used a 6:1 ratio.
The problem is that I have a #420 44T rear sprocket and I cant upgrade to an 60 teeth sprocket because it would be bigger than my 11“ tire. I can’t change my sprocket on my clutch because it’s already the smallest (10 teeth).
Do you have any experiences with it and could give me some advices so I can get a 6:1 ratio so that my clutch won’t break.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Some folks do get 9-tooth sprockets for their crank, but that's not enough for you so don't bother. 2 choices.................
Put on a CVT (I use $60 Chinese ones for ebay) for the big torque increase, or make a jackshaft for it (my choice of the 2, but I do both).
Will attach a pic of current jackshaft being run from CVT. You can change sprockets all you want there, get any ratio you want. For example, currently have a 9:1 ratio by running a 12:24 CVT to jackshaft primary, and 16:72 jackshaft secondary to axle.
