hydraulic brakes not working.

Anyone have info on enginetics hydraulic disks brakes. the kart was sitting for years before I bought it. First day riding the kart stopped on a dime, now not so much. Pedal has far more travel now so i'm assuming loss of pressure. also after pressing brakes im seeing spots on the floor which lead me to believe the problem might be bad brake lines. I cant seem to find any info at all on the brakes lines. What i'm really looking for is an autozone alternative. Here's what the mast cylinder looks like.

Step 1) Check fluid level.
Step 2) Top up/ bleed system as necessary

There is also the possibility that the piston seal is failing, rendering the master cylinder incapable of developing sufficient pressure. Could be a caliper issue, too.

Regarding leaks- have someone pushing the pedal while you closely inspect all ines and fittings for leaks.

I'm sure there is. But troubleshooting a hydraulic brake system is universal. Could be "Enginetics" kart brakes, high dollar "Brembo" stuff on a hot rod, or the old corroded junk on the frontend of a '77 Kawasaki...
