Hold off on this a couple of days to see if it gets any strongly dissenting opinions.................
A product that's often useful as a diagnostic tool is a spray can of starting fluid when sprayed into a motor's intake. Often getting a motor to fire and rev once is all it takes to get it running enough for a diagnosis and fix of whatever's wrong, and that hyper-flammable (is it ether?) starting fluid will start up almost anything that has a spark.
Failure of a motor to fire with starting fluid is also useful for diagnostics, nearly always means spark failure.

No, it is premix. We have figured out that the carburetor. Ordered an aftermarket carb to try out so I’ll update when that comes in. For now will tinker with the existing carb.
