hub question

Do they make a dual flange hub with a 1 inch bore? If they do what is the link? Im changing over a single pull to live axle and need to reuse the motor mount and brake rod linkage.Trying to change as little as I can.

I couldnt find a dual flange, but you could just get a pair of single flange like these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pair...092QQptZOtherQ5fVehicleQ5fParts#ht_1184wt_965) and put them back to back.

Im not sure if I put single flanges back to back they will line up properly.

im kind of confused..what are you mounting to these?

Most live axles I have found are 1 in. thick with a 3/4 step down.The step down is only 2in. long. I have found dual flange hubs but Im not sure if they will work because my single pull kart hub uses about all its 4 inch lenght axle.

My axle is 3/4 step down also, but i have wheels that fit right on the step down, i believe thats what its meant for.

how do you have your sprocket and brakes setup?

My sprocket and brakes are inside the frames it goes

Post some Pics and it will help us all out in trying to figure out how to best help you! From what i read from the above i do not see a reason for a dual flange hub especially with those rims! I could be wrong but pics will help alot!

Well I went out and spent a lot of cheese on my conversion to live axle parts!!! new axle,hubs,rims,sprocket,brakes,pillowblock bearings...wish me luck guys!! i will post b4 and after pics n a few days...
