ordered some engine parts and need to order a TC but need a guesstimate on the HP gain so i know what TC to buy.
Stock predator 212 motor
Box Stock Kit
including
intake adaptor,air filter
exhaust
choke hold
fuel pump
Top plate

and also am i going to need to pick up a set of jets? i figure this is a common kit so im going to assume a lot of people have a similar set up and could shine some light on it for me. thanks

you'll be good with a series 30 TC...

the box stock kit doesn't acually add any horse, it just allows the ones you have to run free ;)
But you wanted an estimate... 7hp.. maybe 7.2 if you're lucky ?!
the next size jet might be a good idea;
but frankly, chances are your engine is running a hair rich anyways, so bench test what you got with what you get first ;)
A plug reading will tell you what to do.

(a cheap set of precision drills will allow you to adjust the jet at home, one size at a time...
without ordering a set you might not need at all)
But having one backup jet in case you overshoot isn't a bad idea... so ..uhm.. it's up to you ;)

Nope!

the TaV2 IS in fact a series 30 with a nice comfortable backplate...
so, everything's going to be fine :D

minimal adjustments;
alignment is still up to you and necessary ;)

(basically how far "in" or "out" the driver pulley has to sit on the crankshaft)
