New here from Appleton WI. Just picked up a Clark 446 rebel frame from a co worker. Plan on restoring to as close to stock as possible

Or you could run it as-is, look at all that “patina”. Add a little car wax or polish to the paint.

Welcome! I'm with Hellion on this one. Give the frame a great cleaning, clear cote if you want, and replace everything else with new or newer parts. Keep that frame original! Either way, loom forward to your build.

Got more photos of the frame? 1/3 is not visible. Looks like the "Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia" is nearly intact with just some mud on it. Most of these are totally faded out.

Not sure what you mean by wrap around but there are several seat cushions of this type on BMI Karts and on GoPowerSports. Measure what you have, especially the seatback dimensions.

Where the 446 rebel original frames originally tilted like this or is this result of ****y repair work. Need repair anyway because I just removed a glob job angle iron patch job so would like to know about frame so I can address that while I’m at it

Some of the original seats appear to have the front "crotch cushion", some don't. I have compiled a photo/ID thread and the first post has links to other members' karts. I suggest perusing that and elsewhere around the web to glean what you can on the way a Clark should look.

Had to cut a cross bar out that was causing most my issues with twisted frame and was able to get the rear straight with the rest of the frame. Well to the best of my harbor freight welding abilities.

I just realized your seat frame has the snap studs on it. You might go “all out” and have a snap-on seat made for it if you can determine the dimensions and specs. Close enough is good enough, because some of those were embossed with “CLARK” and the model number.
