How to remove an alternator from a generator?

Hello everybody. I have an electrical generator and i want to remove the alternator (its broken) but i can't

I loosed all the bolts from the alternator but its still connected to the engine shaft. The alternator can roll-over with the shaft, but not to remove it.

Maybe somebody who made a kart with one of this engines could help me. The engine is a Robin-Subaru EH17.

Most (all?) generator engines have a tapered shaft and are keyless which makes them unusable "as is".
A straight keyed shaft is what is necessary.

I do know, but i dont want to make a kart with this engine. I want to repair it (as a generator).

I believe there is a taper lock you need to free.

That # seems to just be the engine. Is your whole Generator made by Robin-Subaru or just the engine part? Are there any other brand, model or Wattage-specs printed on the Alternator or frame work?
