How to remove a sled motor and transplant it?

However MysteryBoy, USE THE FRAME! I had all kinds of trouble lining things up on that build.

The only problem with that is a phazers bulkhead is aluminum and you cant weld aluminum and steel so it would have to be bolted to the buggy

pics...

i hope i didn't hack off too much of the frame. i will weld as much of it as i can to the buggy, and bolt down surfaces that are aluminum.

gave it a good washing, will spray it with some black paint tomorrow.

this concludes the adventure of removing the motor and frame... now back to my project log: "project: PGO bug racer, simplified". :)

Aw, I just hate to see a good sled butchered like that. Should have drilled out the rivets holding the tunnel to the bulk head, you might have been able to sell the tunnel.

i had to hack that bi-otch up good... otherwise i would have gotten frustrated at how long it was taking. 4 hacksaw sawzall blades and 3 metal cutting discs later - that's what ended up with.

now i hope i can put it all back together again on the buggy...
