How to put lights on my go kart

I am going to put lights and a key start on my little boys kart and pardon me i don't have a great knowledge of engines but, what all do I need to make this happen

Let's start with the basics- what engine do you have, and is it equipped with an electric starting system?

I believe you'll need a starter coil in order for that to work, however they might not make them for your engine. What model do you have?

Hey guys thanks for responding! The engine is a 6hp Subaru robin and it's got a pull start

I'd sugest your email includes your engines model#, and ask how/where you could order ALL the components you'd need for upgrading your engine to electric start with a high-output charging system, thats suitable for the lights you've selected. (be sure to include the # of lights you'll be installing, and info about your lights like: The candlepower or watt rating, or the amp-draw rating of your lights)

PS: Don't be too surprised if all the parts you'll need end up costing way more than purchasing a whole brand new engine thats factory equipped with these components...
