That is also true, but the counter weights generally have 2 big, flat surfaces that will cause a major splash that you will hear and feel if they hit the oil.
I am glad you decided to rethink the angle you plan to mount your engine.

Just an observation...but someone asking for help and opinions, in my experience, should either 1) expect the opinions he asked for to be more opinionated than his own, OR 2) Listen and read carefully, the opinions offered by the experienced ones who offer their experience before attacking them.
Have a great day. Have fun and be safe.

i cant strech it because i dont have a welder, i was thinking of cutting it but the thing is this engine will most likely go back in the kart (father wont let me keep it this way) so i dont know if the bike will be structurally safe with a cut in the top

Put it back in the kart and let me talk you into installing a 2 stroke engine into your bike frame.
DING DING!!! best answer of the day! No oil in the crank case and can be mounted at any angle.
This week only, we have a super deal with free shipping to your father in the lower 48 states.

i really want to do that but im going through my options first, if i did buy another engine i wouldnt put one of those 80cc two strokes, 1 they dont have the power i want, and two, this might sound stupid but i want my bike to feel slightly heavier, like as if it was actually a motorcycle, also the 4 stroke 2xx engines tend to be more reliable or at least last longer

those typically only go up to 30mph and the power for the buck on those i think is not worth it when i cna pick up a used 20xcc engine for round 70 nd with some small modifications do 50mph easy

But it (the 212) won't fit your frame, will it?
