how to completly setup a rear axle

hey guys i am completly clueless on how to build my rear back axle i haxe a 36 in differential lock axle i have also a 72 tooth sprocket with a brake drum that goes inside it how do i mount the sprocket to axle or where do i mount it and also what else do i need

its just a live axle plain nothing on it i have a sprocket that a brake drum goes into how do i mount the brake drum to the frame a hub or what it has a bumch of different bolt holes

Slide it on, make sure the keyway is in, tighten down set screw/locking collar.

We cannot help you at all without pics. Have a look round the forum at pics and see if that helps

just 1 prob some sprockets have a bigger shaft hole than a actual axle so you might have to improvise a mod to keep the sprocket in place and dont just weld the thing on if its of by just a few mm the chain will jump the sprocket

You use something called a sprocket hub with the correct bore diameter for the axle you have.

DONT weld!!
