how to chang wheels?

This is my first go kart. And I need to change the rear drive tire, and the front tire. But my question is how? I took the nut off the axel, but the wheel does not move? Advice would be thankfull.

Welcome to the forum andrews-dad. Post some pics of the wheels, especially close-ups of it so that we can see what you have. There might be set screws or snap rings holding the wheel in place. You hub might also be rusted to the axle. Use WD40 or PB Blaster or some sort of penetrating oil on the axle. Let it sit for a day, spraying it every now and again with the penetrating oil.

Pics would be a great help though.

hello i have the same problem in my go kart 2 seater i was two days trying, but the rim dont move i use torch and 12 tons press shop but nothing happened

Regarding the wheel removal- it is probably frozen to the shaft with rust. Try copious amounts of penetrating oil like WD-40, Release-All, Fluid Film, etc. Heat can be quite helpful, too. Have you got a propane torch? Be patient, letting the oil soak for a couple days can be productive. Resist the temptation to beat the snot out of it...

Also, check for the presence of a secondary retention method- maybe a grubscrew somewhere?

same problem

i had same problem few days ago but my solution was buy a new axle and rims ,the rims cost 39 dollars(set) and axle 55 u$s
