My shop teacher is a cheapskate - he won't spend more than $500 for the kart. I know that the motor kit and batteries are the most expensive parts. I checked out Alfa Wheels website but I'm confused about rear axles, sprockets, disk brake rotors, and hubs. I want each rear wheel to turn independently of each other. I don't think that a drill motor is strong enough. Any suggestions?
