30 here..started ripping apart small engines at 12, got a busted up go kart at 13 and fixed it up, then got into cars at 16. Been into cars since, and now am a certified automotive technician. I also build and drag race turbocharged imports, mostly DSMs. I'll always love go-karts!

Yeah, i'd say that a pretty bold statement! I was 16 once, and i thought i knew it all too! Heck, at 30 now, and working on cars every day for a job, i'll be the first to tell ya i dont know everything about cars...but i know enough to build fuel injected, turbocharged, forged piston race engines, and tuning with standalone engine mangagement( actually a DIY system called "MegaSquirt"). I have as much fun doing that as I do building and playing around with the go-kart stuff! Not to mention a bit cheaper on the wallet too

turned 16 in begining of month. and i am a wrench head. Very few people know more about cars than me. want to open my own car repair shop .gettin certified in 3 specialized automotive areas

well... im 17.5 and am an aprentice mechanic.but i dont like it that much..and i could probably build a motor on my own or do anything else to an engine or a car. so im doing engineering at tech next year
