im no expert but i would pay 150 tops, it could use a coat of paint and the engine, although seemingly predicable, could be be a big unknown.

yea i guess its a bit hard to say. My sis really wants it for her son but i don't want her to get burnt on the price. I dont mind engine work on these babies, its so simple

No seat belts? Paint looks pretty good IMO. If it is not trashed and original paint is good then thats a fair price.

If those are original tires then it's a low hour kart. thats how I see it anyway.

Just remember it's going to have to be nice original for it to be a full $200. If those are original tires and the paint is really good. I think it's a great deal. But if it rode hard and stored outside it's not worth that. If you get there and it's super clean then I would consider it.

Nothing like have nice original clean cared for stored right kart.

I see no paint wear on the floor boards. Original decals. No dents and paint chips. even the muffler still has the oxide gold finish. Just things I am seeing. Also this is a nice small kart. Perfect for a little one.

Edit: I see seat belts on the grass under the kart. Looks like he keeps it outside for I see the bag on the engine. Pics could make it look better than it is. The deal also depends on your area and what comes up. This may be a okay deal one place and a bad deal at another. Only you know that. Also this kart is not for teen. It's a kart for smaller kids. Teens would tear it up in a few days

So i picked it up, its in great shape, 25 minutes and the carb was cleaned and it runs good. But the steering is stiff. Its in the main shaft, doesnt appear bent ive sprayed plenty of pb blaster and tryed working it back and forth only to find the problem slightly worse and squeaky. What gives? a bushing??

I thought it looked in good condition.

About your steering just keep working on it. Can you take the shaft out? Can you take the tie rods off the shaft and spin it 360 to break it lose some more. Some times that helps better than back and forth only.

Was it a low hour kart? Original tires? How much wear on the brakes?

Post up some pics. It sounds like you got a nice one. To me when they are in good condition its worth paying $50 more or so. It will save you that in the long run easy. Lot of the times you find these karts ran into the ground. For a smaller child you did very well IMO.

Cant get pics atm but i did take the tie rods off, sadly shaft is one piece. Tried spinning it to no avail still stiff, i mean it turns but way too hard. Ive soaked it with multiple fluids and its just not unbinding what else could it be?

worked it a while with pb blaster and it broke free. Drivin this thing is scary! It sways pretty crazy and the rear end hops when you corner sometimes. Brakes lock up easy, look worn down. But otherthan that it runs decent and looks decent :)
