how long of a belt can you get to fit comet 40 series?

well i have a 40 driven and a 44c drive now, my concern is long enough belt to avoid clearance issues with the cylinder of the engine or will the driven clutch face spread out that wide, about 1" to play with on clearance from the sheave to the cylinder

According to my chart, the longest Comet 40 series belt is #213165, which allows a center distance of 15 3/16".
