Looks like it’s going to be a bunch of work and fabrication. Better get it cheap. What are your skills?
Is 150 cheap enough? Idk about my skills, never worked on a live axle. I'm doubtful that engine would ever run, probably need to put a predator 420 on it or something like that. Welding an engine mount shouldn't be too hard... right?? The thing I'm mostly worried about is the guy says it need brakes. What kind of work would that be? Idk it seems like it may be cool to mess with and a neat learning experience for 150

Guys why is the predator 460 (max performance) so much more expensive than the 420?? What about the design makes them want almost 100 more for it?

The 420 is the one you want. Even though it's down a little on hp. and torque compared to the 459 ( very little) there are a ton of hop up and replacement parts available for the 420. Not so for the 459. BTW, many karts that size are powered by 196 & 212 cc engines. With a 420 it will have umph to spare as well as flat out haul a$$. It's well worth $150. But you do have a bit of work to do.

Does the 420 have a hemi and non hemi version like the 212 does?

Better block, slightly better rod, more cc’s, more horsepower and best of all more torque. All spells more fun without having to mod excessively.
459 doesn’t have a side cover bearing.
