What exactly do u mean?

Do u mean turn it over to start it or just turn it a little bit to line something up

If u wanna start it then pull that black T peice coming out of the circle, it's called a pull starter or
But surely u know that
If u don't then u need to do alot of reading before operating the kart

Haha i know how to use the pull start butThe pull start has been stuck where you can't pull it at all all I have ever have to do is use the key. Is there a way to fix the pull start being stuck.

Well that's a relief

Is the pull start stuck or is the engine stuck

I assume the key still works then
If that is the case then undo the 3 bolts around the pull starter
Then it will come right off and u can diagnose what's stuck

It is likely something like the rope derailed and tangled or a stick is lodged in there
If you can't work it out then take a pic of the inside and come back here

Don't undo the bolt in the centre of the starter
That will release a spring. feeding your self though a giant blender is better that trying to get that spring back in

If the key doesn't work and neither does the pull starter doesn't either then its likely the engine

Take out the spark plug out and try to pull the starter

When i go to crank it this is the sound it makes when i turn the key .....fabroman recomended it was the starter or battery i think. what do you think it is and this is the reason i want to try to pull start instead pf my electric starter to see if there is any difference.

If the pull starter and the electric starter are both named then its the engine

Take the plug out and try the pull start

It may be full of fuel or other liquid
It will squirt out the plug hole when u pull the rope

Out of intrest how much oil does it have?
Because if the combustion chamber isn't full then its seized which is a serious issue
If u can't get it moving by removing the plug then u will have to remove the starter and put a bar in the starter cup

It appears the TC belt is loose
Make sure it is
It would be silly if the torque converter was the cause of the seizure

with a charging system intact, yes, you can run lights but, hey, one thing at a time; let's get the engine running first & worry about accessories later...

Do as fowler suggested: Remove the spark plug & pull starter. Once you remove the starter, you will see a cup attached to the crankshaft; can you turn that?

Heck, no need to remove anything - just grab the CVT's driving pulley and try to turn the engine either way, if it's seized you'll know it right off. If it will rotate backwards but not forwards, then it's a likely hydro-lock.

You may be a bit confused. The two metal tabs that come out of the recoil hubs are not stoppers. They are the dogs that engage the starter cup on the crankshaft when you pull the handle. If those didn't come out to meet the slots in the cup, the starter would just freewheel.

If you are having difficulty with your recoil, you need to be very specific about what it is or is not doing when you try to start it, in order for us to help.

ALSO- PLEASE do not start multiple threads to address the same topic. I have merged your threads.

When u pull on these they kick into the cup and and spin it thereby spinning the engine

As toystory said

When u release the starter they should fold back away
