how do you get old driven part of torque converter off of jackshaft?

So I'm rebuilding an old Carter go-kart, and I'm replacing the torque converter. The problem is that I can't get the driven part of the converter off of the jackshaft. These are old parts, so they are not exactly loose. I drenched it in WD-40, and tried hammering it out, but no luck. I don't care about the driven torque converter I just care about saving the jackshaft.

Is there a tool or a technique that removes a stuck disc off of a shaft?

A good penetrating oil, like liquid wrench.
Not WD-40.
Set it on end so that the oil can seep down in.
Let it sit for as long as possible, like days!
Re apply the oil every few hours.
Time is your friend with this method.

If possible, use a punch to knock the key through fist.

Just another thought,
You never know... red lock-tite?
You may need a bit of heat on it.
Lock-tite or not, a bit of heat doesn't hurt.
Keep the heat on the hub, not the shaft.

Henkel says "Loctite" brand red permanent threadlocker (I use #277) needs that heat to be greater than 550 F., pretty dang hot. Also says to remove the fastener while it's hot. Doesn't say if it'll still come loose if allowed to cool down before torqueing it.
