What do i measure to tell what the size is on this carb i got?
It measures one side at 1 3/8 and 1 7/16 on the other i do believe but is that the opening? Or the butterfly Which i do not have. Someone took it out. Im pretty sure the opening is 34mm. Just dont know how to measure it correctly.

34mm should be correct!

(inner size of engine side)

in fact it should be the diameter of the butterfly itself (which often is stamped near the butterfly shaft // INSIDE the carb)

Also it should have a modelnumber on it's body the third ond fourth char (numbers) are it's nominal diameter.

you have a two stroke racing engine for it?

PS but 34 is very very plausible.. nice find I must say.. some of those hit up to 400 bucks on ebay in perfect condition.

I found some other parts but dont know if they go to this motor. Nobody said anything about the carb.
The carb is missing the butterfly plate and i see no markings other than Mikuni corp. I just didnt want to list the carb and have someone say its not right. Just

if you can get a BN34 throttle blade for cheap, try that; I have a feeling it might fit right in ;)

(BN34 is a more recent mikuni carb mainly for jetski or snowmobile engines and such)

looking at the current BN34 (not the "super BN"!)
I'm pretty sure it's the predecessor you're having there..
So the spare part you're looking for could be "MK-BN/034-TV"
again, I cannot guarantee it's the correct one, put I'm rather confident.
