How do I hook up lights to a Predator Engine??

I have been wondering how to hook up lights to a Predator Engine. Friend of mine told me to hook up a wire to where the kill switch is, but not sure which wire to hook it to

Short answer is you can't.

Predators don't come with a lighting coil and you can't use the flywheel with the extra magnets you need from a clone/Honda because the flywheel taper is different. I heard that someone bought a Kohler lighted flywheel and a lighting coil to convert a Hemi Predator but not sure if it was successful.

Get a light and a battery, hook it up through a switch and away you go

You can get a Sealed lead acid battery Like what they use on a power wheels toy car. They are small and can be recharged easily. Something like a 12v 7 or 5 amp hour. Then get some LED lights, they make all kinds of LEDs now. So you can get colored accent lights or red tail lights and even some white lights that are "like" spot lights. They draw very little amps.
Add up all the amps as you buy your lights, Probably less than 1 amp .Then the battery ah or amp hour reading will tell you your run time. 1amp lights will stay on 5 hours with a 5ah battery.

Or just buy your self a Honda engine or briggs and stratton ect .I have a 13hp lifan motor for sale electric start .Not sure if that qualify's

I put led fog lights, brake lights, turn signals on my kart and with everything on it only pulls about an amp. There is days of power if you use LEDs.

Just modify the friction wheel to something with rubber, and let it ride on the outside of the clutch?

6w @ 12v would be enough, we put some 2w LED headlights on our golf cart, and they are bright enough to see at night.
Not like a car headlight or anything, but brighter than you'd think.

So Hooking lights up to an extra magneto will not work ? I seen someone said just got for a battery .

Ml-toys said get a battery so i assumed its because it is to much work or to $$ or cant be done .
I had a china kart that has this little extra clip coming out of the engine that hooked up to 2 halogen lights and wondered how it worked . Predator engines are china brand to same as the engine i had at the time .

I'm not sure if you will need a battery with a magneto or not. It wouldn't be smooth power, it may make your lights strobe. A battery, or possibly a capacitor, would prevent that.

Now that i think of it yea the lights did strobe lol when we went on and off the gas they would flicker .
